Isabelle Smalios is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Prorgraming and while in Europe, studied Total Biologie with its founder, Dr. Claude Sabbah. She utilizes this and the work of Dr. Hamer, the New Medicine, as part of her work with clients. This new concept of approaching illness explains a very specific link between organs and psychological conflicts. Several studies demonstrate how the brain can create a biological dysfunction (illness) in the body, according to unresolved psychological conflicts and the amount of stress they produce. By using Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Isabelle helps people uncover the underlying root of their illnesses and consequently resolve the conflict that triggered them. She has been instrumental in helping her clients recover from a multitude of illnesses with notable success. In this interview, Mitchell and Isabelle discuss in some depth the parameters of NLP’s use with the understanding of the Mind-body relationship detailed in Total Biology and the New Medicine. Certainly enjoyable and educational to the viewer.

Vietnamese Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh is one of the most beloved Buddhist teachers in the West, a rare combination of mystic, poet, scholar, and activist. On the occasion of the release of the great Chan Master Sheng-yen’s book of commentaries on The Sutra of Complete Enlightenment for which the revered Viet Namese Buddhist monk, Thich Nat Hanh wrote the introduction, a great crowd gathered at Sheng-Yen’s Center in Queens, NY to celebrate this new gift of Dharma to the world. All present were uplifted and heartened by the presence of great love, compassion, good will & no less, good company. It was here that Mitchell J. Rabin of A Better World TV & Video Series met with these two honored leaders of the Dharma in the West and spoke with them each about their activity, lives, of mind, heart and work.

See some footage of the festivities themselves, and then delve into greater depth, first with Thich Nat Hanh, the internationally-renowned monk, loved the world over, who helped care for children from both North & South Vietnam during the war; and then even more deeply into the Sutra with Master Sheng-yen, who is the Dharma heir of one of the most revered spiritual teachers of the 20th century, Chan Master Xu-yun. Research scientist Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., introduces a long-awaited paradigm shift in the biomedical sciences. The new science will inspire your spirit, engage your mind and challenge your creativity as you comprehend the enormous real potential for applying this information in your life and in your profession. In this interview, Dr. Lipton and Mitchell Jay Rabin engage in a lively, informative discussion - a continuation of their first conversations together beginning in about 1994, about the nature of the cell, science, the effect of belief systems on biology and the ways in which we can establish positive beliefs for self-empowerment and constructive social change. (30 mins)

A groundbreaking work in the field of New Biology. Author Dr. Bruce Lipton is a former medical school professor (University of Wisconsin) and research scientist (Stanford University School of Medicine). His experiments, examining in great detail the molecular mechanisms by which cells process information, have revealed that genes do not in fact control our behavior, instead, genes are turned on and off by influences outside the cell.

These influences include our perceptions and beliefs. He shows that our beliefs, true or false, positive or negative, affect genetic activity and actually alter our genetic code. Dr. Lipton’s profoundly hopeful work, being hailed as one of the major breakthroughs in the New Sciences, shows how we can retrain our consciousness to create healthy beliefs, and by doing so create a profoundly positive effect on our bodies and our lives.
