Mitchell Rabin Interviews Actress, Writer, Educator Nikkole Salter

 

Sat., June 20, 6pm EST: To deal with the long buried, but now very present issue of systemic racism in the US, Mitchell interviews actress, writer, advocate and educator Nikkole Salter.

NIkkole has been writing and speaking about the Black Experience in America, issues of systemic racism and has been part of projects to re-connect African-Americans to their original African ancestry.

Nikkole has a stellar career as an actress, having recently played Coretta Scott King and Sally Childress (LBJ’s secretary) in a Broadway debut, The Great Society.

At that time, Nikkole was on a roundtable on A Better World Radio with some of her colleagues discussing the play and the time period of the LBJ Administration, MLK and the upswing of the Civil Rights Movement
