It is the 50th year honoring of Earth Day and it’s a year in need of celebration perhaps like none other. The celebration is on-line, it’s free and please join us. Premik Russell Tubbs, a composer, arranger, producer and an accomplished multi-instrumentalist performs on various flutes, soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, wind synthesizers, and lap steel guitar. Premik has worked with Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin, Ravi & Anoushka Shankar, Sting, Billy Joel, and James Taylor, just to name a few. He is equally adept in pop, jazz, world and New Age genres.

Ceremonialist Evan Pritchard (Mi’kmaq descendant) is the founder of Center for Algonquin Culture, and author of seventy critically acclaimed books on Native
American culture, history, spirituality and language, including No Word For Time, Native New Yorkers, Bird Medicine and more, passing along teachings he learned
from many elders, as he has in his lectures, at John Jay and other colleges, churches and at the NY Open Center . Pritchard taught Native American studies
and Creative Writing for 15 years at Pace and Marist, and also at Vassar College. He has appeared frequently on The History and Discovery Channels
and on hundreds of radio stations, particularly WBAI where he has hosted a live “Tribal Harmony” concert for several recent “Thanksgiving Days” offering
